Literacy Activities
At the Friendship Library, we offer a rich variety of activities designed to spark curiosity, celebrate identity, and make learning feel like an adventure.
Every year, in March, we mark Ghana Month where children explore Ghana’s history, languages, and culture through stories, music, and hands-on activities. As the Friendship Library grows across Africa, we look forward to celebrating each country’s story in the same way.
Throughout the year, we keep things lively with quizzes, writing competitions, and literacy games that challenge children to think, create, and express themselves. Whether crafting a first short story or laughing through a word game, the goal is always the same, to make reading and writing something children want to do, not something they feel they have to.
